It's no secret that the credibility of the legendary Carroll Shelby, creator of auto icons like the GT500 Mustangs and 427 Cobras, has been in a bit of a downward spiral over the last few years. It seems that if he's not too busy either suing someone or getting sued, he'll happily slap his name on anything to make a buck. From speed boats, to pre-packaged chilli spices and de-odorant, if there’s a royalty cheque in it, old Carroll is there.
