Korean-International-Circuit-unfinished-400pxBernie Ecclestone has expressed concerns over the state of the Korean Formula one track. It’s scheduled to host the 17th Grand Prix of 2010 at the end of October, but is yet to be completed. When asked about the state of the track and their ability to host the race, Kim Jae-Ho, a spokesman for Korea Auto Valley Operation (KAVO), responded "We will have no problem in hosting the race on October 24 as we have almost completed work".

In a statement given to BBC sport Eccelstone said a safety check should have been carried out six weeks ago, but will now take place on the 11th of October, less than two weeks before the F1 cars are due to begin practice. "What we've done is quite dangerous. It's a question of do we cancel the race or not? They say everything will be OK - we have to hope they're right."

The next round of the 2010 Formula One Grand Prix is at Suzuka, Japan on the 10th of October.
